I wouldn't call this a pitch. In the 'outreach' stage (and not 'interview' stage), you're establishing a relationship. You're not trying to sell something. So be direct, but casual and personable.

I’m currently Product Owner at OnFrontiers which is a Techstars company based in New York, where I feel like I have found my calling in the intersection of the business, the customer, and the technology.
What do I mean? I have always been strong at the analytical side of things. People saw me as super smart, but also that I could communicate and lead. So I kept getting promoted into commercial and leadership positions.
